Ryan B. Dietz Joins Center As External Relations Director For Real Estate

Tallahassee, Fla. -- The Center for Real Estate Education & Research, housed in the College of Business at Florida State University, is pleased to welcome Ryan B. Dietz to the FSU Center for Real Estate Education & Research.  He joins the Center as Director of External Relations & Senior Development Officer for Real Estate.

Ryan will be working closely with the FSU Real Estate Program, and its alumni and professional community.  Specifically, he is responsible for enhancing the Real Estate Center’s non-academic professional relationships (e.g., alumni & friends, board members, corporate sponsors, donors, professional associations, and prospective employers). He will work closely with the Center’s executive director, the College of Business dean and her staff, and the FSU Foundation in overseeing the program’s professional relationships, implementing fundraising strategies, and assisting the Center’s Executive Board in its efforts to increase the stature of the Real Estate Program at FSU.

Ryan comes to FSU from the private sector.  In the last seven years, he has handled the transaction details associated with both commercial and land development real estate projects.  He has managed more than one-million square feet of commercial real estate for privately-owned companies, and he has planned, entitled, and developed more than 4,000 acres of land across Florida for both Fortune 500’s and private ownership groups.  Past employers include Structure Commercial Real Estate, Saglo Development, and Lennar Homes.

Ryan is an active member of the ICSC, the ULI, and the Knight Creative Communities Institute (KCCI).  Real estate has always been his passion, and the opportunity to contribute to his alma mater, Florida State University and its Real Estate Program is a dream come true.  Ryan and his wife, April, have one daughter.  Outside of the household, Ryan holds a private pilot’s license, is an experienced outdoorsman, and a connoisseur of outdoor sports, including snowboarding, offshore fishing, and kayaking. Ryan holds an MBA from Florida State University and an undergraduate degree from Missouri State University.
