Marshall Cohn Named 2014 FSU Network Award Recipient

The FSU Network Award is given annually to one individual in recognition of their enduring and significant contributions to the real estate program at Florida State University. The College of Business, Center for Real Estate Education & Research is pleased to announce, Marshall Cohn, President of The Dunhill Companies, as the 2014 recipient.

Mr. Cohn, a 1981 graduate, has been a long-time friend and proponent of the FSU real estate program. His education, experience and expertise in investment and financial analysis of acquisitions, dispositions, and development and management of commercial and residential real estate projects has benefited the real estate program at Florida State University greatly.

As president of The Dunhill Companies, a Florida-based regional commercial real estate and property management group, based in Orlando, Florida, Mr. Cohn has supported the FSU Real Estate Trends Conference annually as a “Gold Sponsor” for the last 14 years.

Mr. Cohn is a member of the FSU College of Business Board of Governors and a Program Partner of the Real Estate Center. He recently committed a major gift to fund the Marshall S. Cohn Dean’s Conference Room in Legacy Hall, the new College of Business building. Mr. Cohn’s commitment to the program will go beyond this lifetime with a gift commitment to establish an Eminent Scholar Chair in the Real Estate Program.
