Critical Issues In Real Estate Symposium

The Center for Real Estate Education & Research and the DeVoe L. Moore Center at The Florida State University have joined forces to host a major research symposium that will examine many of the underlying issues associated with the recent national real estate boom and bust. Approximately 40 leading scholars from throughout the United States will give presentations and share ideas during “The Critical Issues in Real Estate Symposium: The Economics of Information in Real Estate Markets.”

The first day of the symposium will focus on the residential and mortgage markets, while the second day will look at the investment property market.

Symposium Schedule and list of papers

Matching funds for the symposium were provided by the Kislak Family Fund, a private philanthropic foundation established in 1993 by Jay and Jean Kislak. The fund supports education, arts and humanities, and other charitable endeavors in the United States and abroad.
