Bob and Darby Hold Gift Allows FSU Students to Attend Real Estate Conferences Across Nation

A generous gift earlier this year from Florida State University friends and real estate professionals  Bob and Darby Hold is allowing College of Business real estate students to attend national events that enrich their educational experience and showcase the college’s brightest young men and women to industry leaders.

The $60,000 gift created the Bob and Darby Hold Student Leadership Program, which provides the means for a large number of the college’s brightest students to attend four major annual real estate industry events in 2015, where they learn from and network with industry professionals from across the country.

“These students work hard to be selected to represent Florida State at these important meetings and conferences, which are attended by their peers from other top-ranked universities,” said Dean Gatzlaff, the Mark C. Bane Professor and director of The Center for Real Estate Education & Research. “The Hold’s gift is transformative. It provides the opportunity for students to participate and reflects the university’s commitment to extend the classroom beyond the boundaries of campus.” Read more at Inside FSUBiz.
